The position at a glance

ALMT sits at the heart of the bank and the Liquidity and Rates Metric team plays a vital role in measuring and monitoring all the critical metrics that inform senior decision makers about the health and state of the bank. Data from all levels of the balance sheet are centralized here and transformed into real business intelligence. Leverage your data skills to help us optimize how we communicate this critical information.

In detail

–      Develop and build dashboards that optimize how we communicate liquidity and rate metrics to all the various ALMT North America’s stakeholders.

–      Requires knowledge of Power BI, DAX and Python.

–      Entails collaborating closely with team members to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate on dashboard designs for optimal usability and effectiveness.

–      Familiarity with relational databases will be beneficial for understanding data structures and optimizing data retrieval and storage mechanisms.

–      Contribute to supporting our existing liquidity and rate metrics reporting operations. This may involve assisting with data validation, reconciliations, and troubleshooting issues to maintain the integrity and reliability of our reporting processes.

–      Understanding of topics in finance such as: ALM and Treasury, fixed income, risk management, and banking products is preferrable.

 Eligibility:

1.    Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program

2.    Must be able to work in the local premises

3.    Be 18 and over

4.    Have at least one more semester left after completion of internship
