BNP Paribas renews its partnership with the « Théâtre du Nouveau Monde »

July 2, 2013

The « Murmure du coquelicot » (The poppy red’s whisper), a play directed by Sébastien Soldevilla and featuring Rémy Girard, will be presented by BNP Paribas throughout the 2013-2014 season.

For the third season, BNP Paribas will get involved in a play at the TNM, after having presented Le roi Lear (King Lear) in 2012, and le Dieu du carnage (God of Carnage) in 2010.

The poppy red’s whisper has been authored by Sébastien Soldevilla, co-founder of the doigts de la main (The Hand’s seven fingers), a company that took center stage in the circus industry for its original acrobatic creations. In this play, an actor is reluctantly carried away by a fascinating delirium as he takes an audition to play his own life’s role.

The poppy red’s whisper will be played at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, downtown Montreal from September 17 to October 12, 2013. BNP Paribas is aware of its role and responsibilities in the Canadian society and is proud to support the Montreal’s cultural community by renewing this partnership with the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde.
