Economic outlook from Julia Coronado, BNP Paribas’ Chief economist for North America
For the second year in a row, BNP Paribas’ Chief economist Julia Coronado was invited to share views on the world economy at the Economic Club of Canada in Toronto.
On this occasion, the club invited 5 chief economists from Canada’s largest banks as well as Julia Coronado. It is worth noted that BNP Paribas was the sole foreign bank present at this prestigious event.
During two hours, the speakers shared their views on many domestic, regional and international topics. Julia Coronado’s intervention was mainly focused on the global economy, especially on the growth perspectives in US and Europe.
Shortly after this round table, Julia Coronado went to BNN television channel’s studios, where she expressed her views on the FED strategy and its potential actions in the short and medium terms, as well as on the US and European Union economic outlook in 2014.
