Capital Disclosure from Basel Committee on Banking Supervision regarding Basel III Pillar 3

Effective January 1, 2013 OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions)
requires Canadian financial institutions to manage and report regulatory capital in accordance with a new capital management framework, commonly referred to as Basel III. The new Basel III Pillar 3 public capital disclosure requirements are intended to improve both the transparency and comparability of BNP Paribas’s capital position. The following table is prepared based on the modified transitional template proposed by OSFI in the 2013 CAR Guidelines, Chapter 1.
